Question

If, (theta) =tan^-1 3/5
then prove that
tan(theta)=3/5

Solution

It is a trigonometric identity

if theta =tan^-1 3/5

Then tan(theta)
       =tan(tan^-1(3/5))
       =3/5

tan(tan^-1(theta))=theta

That's an trigonometric identity
