Carnallite is KCl.MgCl2.6H2O

BO33+conc.H2SO4+CH3CH2OHignite−−(C2H5O)3B

The oxidation state of Boron in (C2H5O)3B is +3

Fe2++NO3+conc.H2SO4[Fe(H2O)5NO]SO4

The oxidation state of Iron would be +1

x=6, y=3 and z=1

x+y+z= 10
