If $$x+y+z=\pi/2$$, show that $$\sin^2x+\sin^2y+\sin^2z=1-2\sin x\sin y \sin z$$.


Solution

$$x=A/2, y=B/2, z=C/2$$ so that $$x+y+z=\pi/2$$ leads to $$A+B+C=\pi$$.
