Solution

Double salts are those molecular or addition compounds which exist in a solid state but dissociate into constituents ions when dissolved in water Ex. Mohr salt FeSO4(NH4)2SO46H2O.
Coordination compounds are those molecular or addition compounds which retained their identity in aqueous solution and shows property entirely different from their constituent ions. Ex. Potassium ferrocyanide K4[Fe(CN)6].
