For orifice A
V=2gh1
time taken by the liquid drop to fall T=2(h+h2)g
Now,
Range =2gh12(h+h2)g
Range =4(h+h2)h1
For orifice B
V=2g(h1+h)
Time taken by the liquid to fall T=2h2g
Now
Range =2h2g(2g(h1+h))=4[h2(h1+h)]
As range for both are same So,
4(h+h2)h1=4(h1+h)h2
hh1=hh2
h1=h2
So, h1h2=1
