In a hurdle race, Nidhi is over hurdle B and $\frac{2}{6}$ of the way through the race, as shown in the given figure.

then, answer the following :
(a) Where will Nidhi be, when she is $\frac{4}{6}$ of the way through the race?
(b) Where will Nidhi be, when she is $\frac{5}{6}$ of the way through the race?
(c) Give two fractions to tell what part of the race Nidhi has finished, when she is over hurdle C.

Since if Nidhi is at B, then $\frac{2}{6}$ of the way is completed.
$\therefore$ If she is A, she will cover $=\frac{\left(\frac{2}{6}\right)}{2}\times 1=\frac{2}{6\times 2}=\frac{1}{6}way$
(a) When she is $\frac{4}{6}$ of the way she will be at $\frac{\left(\frac{4}{6}\right)}{\left(\frac{1}{6}\right)}[\because reciprocalof\frac{1}{6}=6]=4thposition=D$
(b) when she is $\frac{5}{6}$ of the way she will be at $\frac{\left(\frac{5}{6}\right)}{\left(\frac{1}{6}\right)}position=\frac{5}{6}\times \frac{6}{1}=5thposition=E$
(c) When she is over hurdle C, she has completed half race. Hence, she will be at $\frac{3}{6}way$
