The correct option is B 0.6 cm
Since, a null point is achieved by balancing potential drops in a circuit. The potential difference between the points is zero, i.e. points are at the same potential.

When end correction is not considered,

1000=25l1

l1=40 cm

When end correction is considered,

10l1+1=15l1+3+100

2062l1=3l1+3

203=5l1

l1=40.6 cm

Error =40.640=0.6 cm
