Let the total number of boys are 9=1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
Then according to the question , Sohan position is 1st and Ramesh position is 8th from front.The number of boys between Sohan and Ramesh are even,so Radhey can't stand in the middle of two.
Let the number of boys are 10=1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
Then according to the question ,Sohan position is 2nd and Ramesh position is 8th from front.The number of boys between Sohan ahd Ramesh are odd(i.e.5),so Radhey can stand in the middle of two(at position 5).
So the number of boys are 10.
