Solution

The correct option is A salt
Let's compare the fractions 13 and 59.

We will convert them into equivalent fractions first.

The multiples of 2 and 9 are
3 : 3, 6, 9, 12, 15...
9 : 9, 18, 27, 36, 45,...

The common multiple of 3 and 9 is 9.

Hence, we get,

13=1 × 33 × 3=39

When two fractions have the same denominator, the fraction with the greater numerator has the highest value.

Thus 59 is greater than 39.

59>39

Hence, the customer bought more of salt as compared to sugar.
