Question

In a triangle ABC if angle A + angle B = 65 degrees and angle B + angle C = 140 degrees, calculate angle A and angle B

Open in App
Solution

In a triangle,
<A+<B+<C = 180 degree
Given,
<A+<B = 65 degree
<B+<C = 140 degree
So
Adding this two equations
<A+<B+<B+<C = 205 degree
We have
<A+<B+<C = 180 degree
So
180+<B = 205
<B=25 degree
From above equations we get
<A=40 degree
<C = 115 degree
