In a zoological park, there are 500 creatures as per the following table.


Out of the total number of creatures, % are birds, % are reptiles, 40% are water animals and % are other land reptiles in the zoological park.

There are total 500 creatures in the zoological park.

Out of these 500 creatures,
Number of birds= 50, i.e., 50500=110 fraction of the total creatures in the park are birds.

Number of reptiles= 150, i.e., 150500=310 fraction of the total creatures in the park are reptiles.

Number of water animals= 200, i.e., 200500=25 fraction of the total creatures in the park are water animals.

Number of other land animals= 100, i.e., 100500=15 fraction of the total creatures in the park are land animals.

The fractions of different creatures are summarized in the table below:


We know that for calculating percentage, we multiply the fraction part by 100 as tabulated below.


Out of total 500 creatures,
10% are birds,
30% are reptiles,
20% are other land animals.
