Solution

In bryophytes, the male sex organ is antheridium, and the female sex organ is archegonium. The gametophyte (n) in bryophyte bears the primitive sex organs in the form of antheridium (male) which produce flagellate antherozoids which are male gamete and need a thin film of water to swim and reach the female reproductive organ (archegonium).

Archegonia are the female part that has a single egg cell. Both these reproductive parts are borne on male and female, and antheridiophore and archegoniophores are borne on the haploid gametophyte.
