The correct option is C 503Ω
Given: A circuit arrangement with resistors each of 10Ω resistance
To find the equivalent resistance between A and B
Solution:
There is no current flowing through arm DE (refer the above figure). So resistors of arm FD and DC are in series, i.e., 20Ω.
Now resistor 20Ω and resistor of arm FC i.e., 10Ω are in parallel. So the combined resistance will be 20×1020+10=20030=203Ω
This is in series with the resistor, i.e., 10Ω of the arm CE.
So the equivalent resistance between A and B will be 203+10=503Ω
