Question

In earthworm, prostomium present near the
  1. setae
  2. clitellum
  3. mouth
  4. nephridiophore

Solution

The correct option is C mouth
In earthworms, the mouth is covered by the prostomium. It is a lobe that is also used as a wedge for the earthworm to make cracks in the soil through which the worms crawl.

In a mature worm, segments 14-16 are covered by a prominent dark band of glandular tissue called "clitellum".

In each body segment, except the first, last and clitellum, there are rows of S-shaped "setae". Their principal role is in locomotion.

Numerous minute pores called "nephridiopores" open on many segements of the earthworm body.
