Solution

The correct option is A 220 V, 2.2 A
Given, $$V_1=V_2=300V;V_3=?,i=?$$
As, We know,
$$V=\sqrt{V^2_3+(V_1-V_2)^2}$$
We now $$(V_1-V_2)^2=(300-300)^2=0$$
$$\therefore 220=\sqrt{V_3^2}=V_3\Rightarrow V_3=220V$$
$$\therefore I=\dfrac{V_3}{R}=\dfrac{220}{100}=2.2A$$
So the reading of voltmeter $$V_3=220V $$ and Ammeter $$A=2.2A$$.
