Question

In the given electric circuit, the current flowing through 3 ohm resistor is 1 ampere. Find the voltage of the battery and the current drawn from it.

Given :- Let the current How in 3Ω is i, and 6Ω is i1=1ampere
i1+i2=I
VAVB=i1×3Ω=i2×6
1×3=i2×6
i2=12ampere
Hence I=i1+i2=1+0.5=1.5ampere
Req=2+3×63+6=2+3×69=4Ω

1req=v
v=1.5×4
=6volt
