OB = OD (radius)

ODB = OBD [Angles opposite to equal sides of an isosceles triangle are equal]

ODB + OBD + BOD = 180

2ODB + 90 = 180

ODB = 45

OBD = ACD (Angle subtended by the common chord AD)
