AE= ED
CE= EB (Given)
In the given figure BED is common.
So, subtract BED from $Δ B C D$ and $Δ D A B$
$B C D - B E D = D A B - B E D$
CED=AEB
CD=AB
$∴ A B = C D$
Hence proved.
