In the given figure, CAE=84. If B:C=3 : 4, then find the value of B and C.

Let B=3x and C=4x

3x+4x=84... (exterior angle theorem)

7x=84

x=12

B=3(12)=36

C=4(12)=48

Hence B=36° and C = 48°
