We know that, the sum of all three angles in a triangle is equal to $180^{\circ}$ . [1 Mark]
So, $x + 55^{\circ} + 90^{\circ} = 180^{\circ}$
$\Rightarrow x + 145^{\circ} = 180^{\circ} \Rightarrow x = 180^{\circ} - 145^{\circ} \Rightarrow x = 35^{\circ}$ .
