ABC is an isosceles triangle.
Here, AB = AC
∴ ∠ACB = ∠ABC ...(i)
So, exterior ∠ADE = ∠ACB
= ∠ABC [from(i)]
∴ ∠ADE = ∠ABC (Corresponding angles)
Hence, DE || BC
ABC is an isosceles triangle.
Here, AB = AC
∴ ∠ACB = ∠ABC ...(i)
So, exterior ∠ADE = ∠ACB
= ∠ABC [from(i)]
∴ ∠ADE = ∠ABC (Corresponding angles)
Hence, DE || BC
