• The point C gets closer to point B and finally $\angle$A becomes very close to zero.
• AC becomes almost the same as AB.

So, when $\angle$A is very close to $0^{\circ }$,
AC is nearly the same as AB and BC tends to achieve the value zero .
$\therefore$ Length of BC becomes 0 units and length of AC becomes almost 1 unit.
