As A gets smaller and smaller, the length of the side BC decreases.

  • The point C gets closer to point B and finally A becomes very close to zero.
  • AC becomes almost the same as AB.

So, when A is very close to 0,
AC is nearly the same as AB and BC tends to achieve the value zero .
Length of BC becomes 0 units and length of AC becomes almost 1 unit.
