In triangle ABC, right angled at B, if ∠A is made smaller and smaller till it becomes zero, and AB = 1 unit, what can you say about sides BC and AC ?
0, 1
As ∠A gets smaller and smaller, the length of the side BC decreases.
So, when ∠A is very close to 0∘,
AC is nearly the same as AB and BC tends to achieve the value zero .
∴ Length of BC becomes 0 units and length of AC becomes almost 1 unit.
