Number of friends=3
Fraction of chocolates each friend got=$\frac{\text{Number of chocolates bought by Johny}}{\text{Number of friends}}$

=$\frac{10}{3}$
=3 R 1
Each friends would have got 3 chocolates intially and the remaning 1 chocolate will be distributed equally among three of them ($\frac{1}{3}$) .
Hence, each of Johnny's friend would have got 3$\frac{1}{3}$ chocolate.
