Capacity of beaker=4000 ml as 1 litre =1000 ml
Now,Karan poured 1 litre and 600 ml of water in the beaker
karan poured 1000 ml+600 ml in the beaker as 1 litre =1000 ml
karan poured 1600 ml in the beaker [1 Mark]
so, the water that he needs to pour in the beaker to completely fill it= capacity of beaker - amount of water karan poured initially
The water that he needs to pour in the beaker to completely fill it=4000-1600
the water that he needs to pour in the beaker to completely fill it=2400 ml
the water that he needs to pour in the beaker to completely fill it=2 litres and 400 ml [1 Mark]
