Striated muscles or the skeletal muscles are the voluntary muscles.
These muscle fibres are made up of alternating patterns of thick and thin filaments. The thick filaments is the protein myosin; the thin filaments are proteins called as actin along with tropomyosin and troponin.
Actin filaments are made up of bead-like G-actin, which is joined by long strings to make fibrous or F-actin. Two of these strings are then twisted upon themselves to form a double helix, that makes actin filament. Wrapped around the double helix is another protein, called as tropomyosin. Actin is also associated with another protein, called as troponin.
Thus, the correct answer is option D.
