The mast cells are part of the immune system of the body. They are located below the epithelial tissue. During an allergic reaction, the mast cells release histamine, heparin, etc. They act against the allergic reactions. Heparin is an anticoagulant whereas histamine is a vasodilator. Myoglobin is a protein found in the skeletal muscle tissue of vertebrates in general and in almost all mammals. Haemoglobin is a protein found in RBCs. It is the respiratory pigment which carries oxygen in the higher organisms.
