The correct option is A

Since the quantity of both the candies are same, so we can just take simple averages.
Cost price to Mayank = $\frac{(15 + 12)}{2}$ = Rs. 13.5 per dozen
Profit per dozen = SP – CP = 16.5 – 13.5 = Rs. 3
But total profit = Rs. 150
Dozens of candies he bought altogether = $\frac{150}{3}$ = 50.
