Solution

Given that:
Meet saves Rs 4000 from her salary, which is 10% of her salary.

Let Meet’s salary be Rs x.

Given that,

10% of x=4000

10100×x=4000

x10=4000

x=4000×10=Rs.40000

Therefore, Meet’s salary is Rs 40000.

Her net spending = Salary - savings = 40000 - 4000 = Rs 36000

Now in order to buy a bike Meet starts saving 30% of her salary.
Her salary is Rs 40000.

The total amount she starts saving monthly = 30100×40000 = Rs 12000
Her net saving monthly is Rs 12000.
