Wind-pollinated plants have small, dull-coloured flowers with well-exposed stamens and large feathery stigmas.
These plants have light, dry and non-sticky pollens so that they can be easily carried away by the air currents. Pollens are produced in large quantities as well.
The large stigma then easily catches these pollen grains.
