To stitch a shirt 2m 15cm cloth is needed. Out of 40m cloth, how many shirts can be stitched and how much cloth will remain?

Cloth required to stitch one shirt = 2m 15cm
= 2×100cm+15cm
= 215cm
Length of cloth = 40m
40×100cm=4000cm
Number of shirts can be stitched = 4000÷215



Therefore, 18 shirts can be stitched and 130 cm(1m 30cm) cloth will remain.
