Thallophyta:

  1. Thallophyte plants are polyphyletic groups of non-mobile organisms, also known as thalloid plants.
  2. Due to its high content of nitrogen, phosphorus, and many other nutrients, it is used as fertilizer in various places.
  3. In some countries, algae are used as food.
  4. Because it is photosynthetic, it contributes large amounts of oxygen to the atmosphere.

Examples of Thallophyte:

  1. Cladophora
  2. Spirogyra
  3. Ulva
  4. Chara
  5. Ulothrix.

Bryophyta:

  1. Bryophytes are the informal group name of algae, liverwort, and hornwort.
  2. They are non-vascular plants, which means they have no root or vascular tissue.
  3. But instead, they absorb water and nutrients from the air through their surface.

Examples of Bryophytes:

  1. Dianella varia
  2. Physcomitrella patens
  3. Bryum capillare
  4. Rhytidiadelphus squarrosus
  5. Bryum Argentum

Pteridophyta:

  1. Pteridophyta is a division of vascular plants that has roots, stems, and leaves but no flowers or seeds.
  2. Pteridophytes are vascular plants that reproduce using spores.
  3. They do not produce flowers and seeds and are therefore also known as cryptogams.

Examples of Pteridophyte:

  1. Pteris vittata
  2. Diphasiastrum complanatum
  3. Azolla pinnata
  4. Lygodium japonicum
  5. Ophioglossum vulgatum
