Open in App
Solution

Anaerobic respiration:

Anaerobic respiration occurs in the absence of oxygen and involves the partial oxidation of glucose molecules. The number of ATP molecules obtained through anaerobic respiration is lower than aerobic respiration.

In yeast, the end products of anaerobic respiration are ethyl alcohol, carbon dioxide and ATP (Adenosine triphosphate).
