Solution

The correct option is A increase
Autonomic nervous system has two main divisions which are sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. The involuntary actions of the body are regulated by the autonomic nervous system.
Sympathetic nervous system and parasympathetic nervous system work opposite to each other. Sympathetic nervous system deals with fight or flight response of the body whereas the parasympathetic nervous system stimulates the body to rest and digest.

The cardiac output and rhythmic control are regulated by the autonomic nervous system. Neural signals through sympathetic nerves increases the heart rate and the parasympathetic neural signals decreases the heart rate.
