Scale of map drawn of a triangular plot = 1: 2,50,000

Measurements of the plot:

AB= 3 cm, BC= 4 cm and ABC=90



Actual length of AB =3×250000 cm

=3×250000100 m

=3×250000100×1000

=152=7.5 km

Actual length of BC=4×250000100×1000=10 km

Now, the area of plot =12×BC×AB

=12×7.5×10 km2

=752=37.5 km2
