Given, d(B, C) = 11 .....(i)

d(A, B) + d(A, C) = 5 + 6 = 11...........(ii)

$∴$ d(B,C) = d(A,B) + d(A,C) [From (i) and (ii)]

Hence, point A is between point B and point C.
