The correct option is C T2(1.5×0.082)
From the first law of thermodynamics, we have dU=dq+dw
For adiabatic expansion, dq=0.
Hence dU=dw or nCV,mT
or
nCV,mT = dw
T = dw(nCV,m)

putting values, we get;

Tf=TPextVnCV,m

i.e.,

Tf=T(1 atm)(2 L)(1 mol)(1.5×0.082 L atm K1mol1)
=T21.5×0.082
