One mole of O2(g) and two moles of SO2(g) were heated in a closed vessel of one litre capacity at 1098 K. At equilibrium 1.6 moles of SO3(g) were found. The equilibrium constant KC of the reaction would be:-

The correct option is B 80
The given reaction is;
2SO2      +      O2      2SO3
2                         1              
22x                1x         2x         2x=1.6
using this we get,             x=0.8

So,
                        2SO2      +      O2      2SO3
final conc.     0.4                      0.2             1.6

putting all the values of concentrations in the formula,
Kc=(1.6)2(0.4)2×0.2=80
