$=2\frac{1}{2}cups+1\frac{2}{3}cups=\frac{(2\times 2)+1}{2}+\frac{(1\times 3)+2}{3}=\frac{4+1}{2}+\frac{3+2}{3}=\frac{5}{2}+\frac{5}{3}=\frac{5\times 3+2\times 5}{6}[\because LCMof2and3=6]=\frac{15+10}{6}=\frac{25}{6}$
$\therefore$ Total quantity of both ingredients used in 10 packets
$=10\times Totalquantityofingredientsinonepacket$
$=10\times \frac{25}{6}=\frac{250}{6}$ = $41\frac{4}{6}$
So , the estimated quantity for $\frac{250}{6}$ will lie between 41 and 42.
