Na, Ca, Mg, Al, Zn, Fe and Cu reacts with Chlorine because they are more reactive and present in the upper parts of the reactivity series. Chlorine is least reactive among all and it is a non metal also. Generally metals and non metals reacts to form ionic compounds.
