Question 25
Organelle without a cell membrane is

(a) ribosome
(b) golgi apparatus
(c) chloroplast
(d) nucleus

Solution

(a) ribosome
Ribosome is a Non-membrane bound organelle. It consists of RNA and proteins. This means that it is structurally more solid and not fluid-filled. Ribosomes hence have no need for a membrane. Other notable non-membrane bound organelles are the cell wall and the cytoskeleton.
