Solution

The correct options are
B windward
C leeward
Orographic rainfall happens when moist air rises along one side of mountains. As the moist air rises, it becomes dense and clouds are formed on the same side of the mountain, thus giving rise to precipitation. The side of the mountain which experiences rain is called windward side whereas the side which lies opposite to the windward side is called the leeward side. The leeward side of a mountain does not experience any rain.
