Solution

The correct option is D $$6$$
$$\Rightarrow$$  Let the number of persons eligible to vote be $$x$$. Then,
$$\Rightarrow$$  Number of eligible persons between 18 and 21 = $$8\%\, of\, x$$
$$\Rightarrow$$  Number of persons between 18 and 21, who voted = $$75\%\, of\, (8\%\, of\, x)=(\dfrac{75}{100}\times \dfrac{8}{100}\times x)=\dfrac{6}{100}x$$
$$\therefore$$   Required percentage = $$[\dfrac{6x}{100}\times \dfrac{1}{x}\times 100]\%=6\%$$
$$\therefore$$   $$6\%$$  of people who actually voted.
