Solution

a. Artificial selection in plants is intentional breeding to achieve desired traits. Artificial selection of wild type of mustard has led to the formation of cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli etc. Further breeding of cauliflower for desired traits has led to the formation of newer varieties of cauliflower.

b. We cannot say that organisms follow any particular path or steps for speciation. It can be a gradual or sudden process, various factors can act simultaneously thus charting of particular steps of speciation is not feasible.

c. Different races of humans have more than enough similarities to classify them as same species and they differ only in a few traits like skin colour and some other minor genetic sequence.
