Consider a wire of length l and cross sectional area A stretched by a force F through a distance Δl.
Then expression for Young's Modulus is given as :-
Y= $\frac{Fl}{A\Delta l}$ ..........(1)
According to question, Δl = 2l
Then, Young's Modulus (Y)= $\frac{F}{2A}$
