Are the genes present in the 23 pairs of chromosomes in different cells of our body the same or different? If they are the same then how can so less as 46 chromosomes control everything in our body? And can they be different because all the cells originated from just one cell?
The 46 chromosomes present in the different cells of our body are same. The chromosomes contain small sequences called genes which are actually responsible for the inheritance and control of different characters. Since there are millions of such genes present in the chromosomes which are more than enough to control all the characters in human beings or any other living organism.
