Can plolonged exposure to light and heat cause amorphous solids to convert into crystalline solids? If yes, then how?
Yes!
The prolonged exposure to light and heat can affect the structure of solid but it is not possible in every amorphous solid however it is found in some elements where the amorphous solid converts to crystalline form.
For ex: amorphous phosphorous solid crystallizes after long heating or exposure to sunlight.
