Question

Current flows from negative terminal to positive terminal in a closed circuit but how is it possible since the flow of electrons is from negative to positive terminal threrefor current should have travelled from negative to positive terminal?

Current flows opposite to the direction of the flow of the electrons. Electron always flows from the negative terminal to the positive terminal of the battery or cell. Therefore current always flows from positive terminal to negative terminal.
