Xylem and phloem are arranged opposite to each other, with xylem to inside and phloem to the outside. In these types of vascular bundles, phloem occur both sides, externally and internally to the xylem
These may be close (no vascular cambium between xylem and phloem) or open vascular bundles ( vascular cambium present) These types of vascular bundles are always open.
They are found in both monocots and dicots. They are found only in some dicots
