Explain how graphites structure makes it feel slippery and rub off on paper.

In graphite, each carbon atom is bonded to three neighbouring atoms using up three of these electrons.The carbon atoms form flat layers of hexagonal rings.Weak vander waals forces hold the layers together. Due to this, the layers are able to slip past each other very easily and rub off on the paper.
