2.The Himalayas were formed when the collision of Gondwana land took place with Eurasian plates,as a result sediments accumulated in the geosyncline, solidified and gradually folded and lifted up.
3.Similar process took place when Indo-Australian plate gradually moved upward and joined Euasian plate to form the mountain system of the Central Asia.
